Had a breakdown of my garage door last night, wouldn't close. I called Precision and they sent a guy, at night, to fix it. Just wonderful service. Josh found the problem quickly and fixed it perfectly. I highly recommend this company.

Phone Receptionist was courteous & efficient setting up appointment for same day service. Repair technician, Josh Jackson, called and confirmed arrival time. Arrived timely, inspected problem, gave base estimate for repairs then explained additional services that he would perform that comes with their standard service call fee plus options that I did not currently have. He completed the estimate, gave me the time it would take for him to complete the repair/install, I signed,he performed the repair/install within 10 minutes of his estimated timing. Josh was punctual, courteous, professionally attired, knowledgeable and efficient. I was very impressed and would use their services again.

Mark sold a new garage door with belt drive opener. He responded to all questions. He explained the pros and cons to our present installed door and new equipment that could replace it. His professionalism showed to such an extent I did not look for a second quote.

Worse visit ever. Rude technician. Had no idea why he was here. Got very argumentative. Treated us like we’re stupid . Left abruptly and speeding through our little neighborhood. Never again. This is the third time I’m dealing w a precision technician. All bad experiences.

Mr. Topping was professional and appropriate in all respects and, were the only issue him as a representative of your company, he would get five stars. What was not okay was the fact that the garage door you sold us on November 11, 2012 (invoice number 775542) came with a manual release handle that was attached to a cord to accomplish the manual release. Last week, we went to use the manual release due to a power outage, only to find that the cord was made of a material that rotted and it broke when we went to use it. Mr. Topping told us that neither such cord nor any part of the track assembly was warranted as part of our lifetime warranty on what we bought from you folks. We thought, and I believe most would find our thought reasonable, that all of what you sold us was part of the warranty, not just the motor assembly. I am reasonably handy (comes with being 69 years old) and could manually release the door from the track myself, which I did and we got our cars out. But my experience causes this question to come to mind: How many garage doors did you folks install that had that same cord that rots away and breaks when needed most? Can you imagine if there was a power outage caused by a fire and a customer of yours, as part of the effort to evacuate, could not manually release the door from the track because the cord broke. leaving them unable to get their car out of the garage so they could retreat to safety? My overall point is that somebody must have signed off at some point for that cord to have been judged adequate to the task. Was that the manufacturer or was that your company? Either way, your company is who any customer would look to in this situation. I am a businessman myself and I would suggest that your company contact each customer who has a rotted cord and tell them that they need to remedy that problem. I don't know how you explain to those customers that they will have to pay your company a significant amount of money to install a new cord (hopefully made out of material that will not rot). I, today, bought the battery backup so that, should the power go out when I am not home, my wife can get her car out of the garage and, if necessary, escape a fire. I am not happy I needed to do that but, where safety is at issue, one has to be prepared at all times and it will be a while before I can see if I can replace the rotted cord in the track portion of my unit. I have rated the service only one star because of the rotted cord issue but, again, I was pleased with Mr. Topping in all respects.
