Mario provided excellent service. He was honest and told me what the problem was and it was corrected by just moving an item. However, there was maintenance needed in the form of lubrication. It should be. noted that Mario was very courteous and respectful. It appears that since COVID19, the old saying that the customer is always "right" is no longer true, but Mario puts that to rest. I was in a bind, Literally! After a very enjoyable 4th of July I came home to a garage door that wouldn’t open and I had a vehicle in it. Fast forward to 930am as I’m struggling to clear the fog, I text a neighbor who I remember recently having their garage door worked on. Neigbor graciously sends me contact with two numbers on it. I call the first number and it ended up being Jon’s cell phone. Now I have a restricted number and in an era of the dreaded spam call, Jon answers. I guess there are protocols to get service and I have yet to follow one of them. Told Jon my sob story, sent him some pictures and dimensions. Without hesitation he tells me not to worry. He contacts dispatch and I receive a text confirming the appointment. Time of the appointment and I’m in communication with Jon, I know exactly when he’s going to arrive and I didn’t have to wait for a block of time. Was very appreciative of that. Jon arrives, he looked at it for 3 seconds and knew everything I spent some time researching before even calling. Clearly working with a professional. Told Jon what I was looking for. I knew the system was older than I was. I figured I was in for a quote and would have to schedule an install appointment however Jon wasn’t done surprising me yet. I picked a complete rebuild, new cables, springs, sealed bearings, guides the works. He politely asked me to move my bike and 45 minutes later I have a garage door ready for another 40 years of wear and tear. This was not a situation I was excited to deal with but I couldn’t have ask for anything more. In 6 hours from sending a random restricted call to a working garage door and a happy customer.
