This company has consistently marketed my company for years. The caller would say if you need a garage door quote, call us for a quick turn around. So when I needed a quick quote, I called. No estimators were available so the told me they forward my info and someone would call. The next morning they called me back, and I spoke with salesperson Mark and gave him the info he needed. He said he would text me a quote later that day. Didn't happen. Didn't happen 2 days later. The third day I left Mark a message and told him I was moving on to a company that could actually provide me with a simple quote. Never heard from him. Don't waste your time.

My service didn't go well. However my technician Mario was very respectful. By the way Mario wasn't the Tech I was told was coming to my home. After the tech installed an external receiver/transmitter on my door motor housing and a new keypad by my entry door because both units had fried somehow. Well now my door is up and running but only with my old existing remotes. Unfortunately I lost the ability to use my HomeLink buttons in either my wife's or my car. This is extremely upsetting as I do not want us to have to use hand held remotes that can be stolen and use to access my home. I wasn't told that this was going to happen prior to the installation of all the new equipment. The tech said he was sorry but they weren't allow to try and reprogram the vehicles HomeLink systems so he ran me through it but we weren't successful. Mario did get back to me and said I could buy a repeater, plug it in and try to program it to the new equipment he installed. I did purchased the repeater but am waiting to see if Precision will program it to my cars for me... I'm still waiting to see if someone contacts me to help resolve my unfinished issues.

The communication and service was excellent. I do have one complaint. I was verbally quoted a price to which I agreed for the work to be done. When it was time to pay an invoice, there was an additional charge of $89 for lubricating the garage door, which I did not authorize, request or agree to that additional charge. I did pay the whole invoice, knowing this charge was on it. So I am not asking for any refund, but it will make me definitely think twice before I call precision again or recommend them.
