The good: Jon was respectful and experienced. Arrived early. He replaced the broken torsion springs in less than 20 minutes. The not so great: Their pricing strategy trying to get you pay as much as possible. My quote start out almost $900 for replacing the torsion springs. They try to justify their pricing by giving you 5 years of warranty, or lifetime warranty if you pay close to $2000. Then it was reduced to $586.99 when I said I will shop around. I find these kind of pricing strategy dishonest and very manipulative. Had to call their office to get the invoice sent, because it was never sent on their end after I made the payment in the morning. On the invoice I received, it stated only 1 year warranty for parts and labor, which was not what was communicated to me in the beginning. I would not recommend this company to my family and friends. Always shop around if you don't want to get ripped off.

Precision Door techs, installers and estimators offer good, better, best estimates to all customers, this helps you as the consumer to have many options to choose from that best fit the situation. These options will be offered with different levels of warranty coverage. In this case the estimate that was chosen is offered with a one-year warranty, parts and labor. My garage door spring broke on a Saturday. I made an appointment online and a tech came out and fixed it on Sunday! The tech, Ariel, showed up on schedule, was professional, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The repair took about an hour and it works great! I've used Precision in the past and will use them again. Highly recommend them if you are looking for quality service and a company that stands behind their warranty at a reasonable price.

My garage couldn't open after coming back from my morning dog walk. I went online and was able to book an appointment that same morning! The communication was great and I was called letting me know around what time to expect the tech and when he was actually on his way to my property. After the diagnosis I was presented with a list of options so I could choose the plan that suited my needs/budget. The tech was very friendly and let me know about all the problems I had and answered all my questions. Shout out to Ariel Zamora! The install was completed in about 2 hours! The parts I chose look great and the opening of the garage itself is whisper quiet now! I highly recommend Precision for all your garage doors needs, they have certainly made a fan out of me! After living here for over 30 years, we finally decided we needed an automatic garage door opener. We live in Julian so our options for service are usually limited. We called Precision and they had a technician out here within two hours. Ariel installed the opener as well as provided torsion spring maintenance and tuneup on a door that had nothing done to it since it was originally installed. He was great to work with. We did not get many estimates, but the pricing seemed fair. We would definitely recommend Precision Garage door and Ariel for your needs
