The tech was very nice, but the prices they charge are completely mind blowing (and they misdiagnosed the issue to upcharge us!) They told us we needed a new motor, but the only motor they have on their truck is $1000! I don’t need a top of the line opener, there’s plenty of reliable ones for $300 on the market. And then he tried to charge us $400 for new wheels! The quote was $1800 for one garage door motor and parts (without the wheels!). I got someone else to quote me for $500, but it just turned out our sensor was dirty and we didn’t even need anything replaced. So Precision’s “inspection” is complete robbery too because the tech didn’t figure that out. We literally just cleaned the sensors and our door works perfectly. Now we’re out $140 for an “inspection” that wasn’t even a real inspection.

Oh my gosh! My garage door is so beautifully whisper quieter now. It is literally the quietest door I've ever heard. It's wasn't cheap, but it wasn't exorbitant. They offered cheaper options. The technician did not pressure me or try upsell me. I was just so tired of my clunky crunchy old door, I went for the deluxe package. I got the LiftMaster motor plus the overhaul special: New rollers, new springs, new sturdier cables, new sensor beam projector eye, two new remotes, a sensible keypad on the outside, and a super cool digital keypad that shows you the time and the temperature inside the garage, all joints lubricated. And remote access through the app and lifetime warranty. I feel price I paid was worth it. After the overhaul, the motor starts quietly without a bone shaking ker-chunk. No more rattling, squeaking, and jaw clenching metal on metal scraping as the door rises and lowers. The keypad for external entry has got a hinged door on it which makes more sense than the stupid thing I had there before. The interior open/closelight

Ariel was on time and diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately the head was bad but after 17 years not a big surprise. The lifetime warrantee cut the cost of the unit by about $400. The equipment cost was due to our wonderful CA legislature now requiring battery backup for the garage door so our frequent blackouts don’t lock out those of us who can’t figure out how to pull the red rope. Anyway I’m happy with Precision’s service.

My garage door would not close or open. Fortunately an appointment could be made the same afternoon. Kai was wonderful - got the door operational again.
