The tech was very polite. I have used you in the past to install a completely new garage door and had been very happy with the service and cost. The price I was given on the phone was ~385 for a new opener. The quotes I got in person started at over $600! That is bait and switch and not appreciated, not to mention all the additional things he tried to sell me. We just had a power outage that must have fried the opener which is 6 years old. He quoted as much as I paid for an entire new door! What a waste of $600. I was VERY disappointed in your approach and costs. Travis was patient with my annoyance. The call took less than 10 minutes.

Currently talking to Larry in SD regarding situation 6/4 gave her the svc fee back and need Monty scheduled for this Thursday 4-6 to get out there and adjust her spring tension. 6/4

The service repairman was prompt which was awesome. He was friendly and knowledgeable about garage doors. We were informed that to replace the 2 springs it would cost $575. I declined the service and thanked the repairman. The repairman went back to his truck and after about 5 minutes he came back and informed us that he could install new springs for around $385 but the quality of the springs would not be as good. When we do business with someone we would like them to just be upfront. If there are different options then please let us know. For example, "We offer springs X and Z, X are higher quality and will run you about $575 while springs Z are a lower quality and will run you around $385." We were expecting this to be covered under our home warranty today but understand that it wasn't. I declined the service from Precision and after the garage door repairmen left, I called a local garage door repairman and within (20 minutes) I had a new repairman out at my home that fixed both springs and included a warranty for less than the second price quoted price by Precision. We were disappointed that we were not able to do business with Precision today and it was primarily due to the fact of not being honest and upfront about all of the options available to us.
